Nowadays, there are many blind people in Thailand and they would like to access information such as education, news, or entertainment just like people who can see. But it has not enough audiobooks for them. The Blindary is a web application that is developed for helping volunteers to create their own audiobooks conveniently and efficiently. The project is separated into two parts, which are audiobook production and audiobook playback. Each part is developed by separated groups. The project team focus on audiobook production, and another team develop the audiobook playback. In the Blindary audiobook production part, the application requires the users to test their voice quality before recording, and allow the users to upload sound from external sources as well. The Blindary application also provide an audio cutter feature. If the users mispronounce or skip words while they are recording, they can edit and insert an additional audio track. Moreover, the users can collaborate their audiobook with each other. Furthermore, the application use cloud storage to store the recording. So, it can reduce the problem of the limitation of network bandwidth when the users upload content to the server at the same time.
