In university, an academic record is usually collected from a student’s studying and testing. Whereas in real life, there is something which is also just as important as their academic record which is their soft skills, for example, leadership and problem-solving. This caused the idea to create a system that can record a student competency scores. This system does not interface with the academic record system. They will be gathered to let students know what competencies scores they have, so students will know their scores and be able to improve themselves in the future. Moreover, it can be additional information in their portfolio as well. Furthermore, we saw that the blockchain technology has some advantages for a system like our proposed one such as persistent, unchangeable, and traceable.
