Prototype of smart garbage bin for garbage sorting is an IoT device that uses image recognition to segregates recyclable garbage automatically. This smart bin acts as the first stage for recycling companies and agencies, and the bin will reduce the work and time spent on separating types of recyclable garbage such as plastic, paper, aluminum cans, and glass. The bin can also track the fill-level of garbage in the bin to prevent overflow of garbage.
